This will take place <strong>on Monday 17 June 2019 <\/strong>at the <strong>Beursschouwburg in Brussels at 17h30.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The debate will be divided into two themes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5:30 pm [Panel 1]: Which contract for which artistic performance?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many different types of contracts and forms of invoicing for the realisation of a paid artistic performance. How do you know what to opt for as a performing artist? Are some types better than others? What is the role of intermediators? And what are the consequences for your income, your social rights and your right to the artist statute?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Speakers:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Selim Gharbi (SMartbe)<\/li><li>Fran&ccedil;ois-Xavier Kernkamp (AMPLO)<\/li><li>Tom Kestens (GALM)<\/li><li> Julie Basecqz &amp; Jacques Monseu (Union des Artistes) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6:15 pm [Panel 2]: Copyright\/neighbouring rights: income or salary?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although copyrights and neighbouring rights are considered movable income, there are many different opinions about and practices regarding the nature and treatment of these rights. What is the point of view of employers and clients, trade unions, public administration organs and performing artists on this matter?
