This is the final distribution of rights\nfor that period, and is preceded by the first distribution of rights that was\ncarried out in November 2016. The amount of generated rights for 2011 is\n3.264.356,64&euro;, for 2012 3.066.151,55&euro;. <strong>In\ntotal (2011+2012), PlayRight distributes 6.330.508,19&euro; of audiovisual rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A final\ndistribution is the last distribution of rights for a certain period, and is\ntherefore definitive. You or your representative still have\/has a maximum of\nsix months&rsquo; time after this payment to submit any complaint about this\ndistribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>First\/final distribution: how does it work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PlayRight distributes your rights in two phases: a first distribution and a final distribution. Between these two distributions, PlayRight sets a deadline by which you can declare the performances that may generate rights for the reference years 2011 and 2012 (December 31st, 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1476\" src=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Timeline_EN_AV_2011-2012-1920x1476.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Timeline_EN_AV_2011-2012-1920x1476.png 1920w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Timeline_EN_AV_2011-2012-325x250.png 325w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Timeline_EN_AV_2011-2012-768x590.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After this\ndeadline, PlayRight is able to perform the final distribution, linking your\ndeclared repertoire to our playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To represent\nartists&rsquo; work as accurately as possible, PlayRight has expanded the range of\nchannels that are taken into account, and focuses on those programmes with\nartistic performances.&nbsp; A programme that\nis broadcast on a certain channel that that was not taken into account, can now\nstill generate rights. The evolution of these parameters requires constant work\nto expand the list of channels whose programmes are takin into account for the\ncalculation of the distribution of these reference years. De virtual cast,\ndetermined during the first distribution, allows PlayRight to make this\nscenario possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How are my rights for an audiovisual performance distributed?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To calculate\nyour rights for audiovisual performances on Belgian territory, PlayRight relies\non your repertoire and a couple of distribution parameters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The\nplaylists of the programmes intended for the Belgian public;<\/li><li>The\naudience shares of these programmes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A global amount\nis allocated to every audiovisual work that appears in the playlists. The\namount of rights is determined on the basis of the duration and audience\nshares, measured by the channel that distributes the work. The total amount\nallocated to a work is then divided amongst the performing artists who have\nparticipated in the work, depending on their role on that recording (A: lead\nrole, B: Secondary role, C: Minor role).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Which channels are taken into account?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this distribution, the Board of Directors has established the list of TV channels that are taken into account in the calculation, as well as the minimum audience shares that each audiovisual programme must have. This is in accordance with our General Regulations.
