During this first distribution &ndash; and also the last one of this year &ndash; PlayRight paid out 3.750.297&euro; amongst her musicians and the musicians affiliated to the sister societies! In 2024, a second and final distribution of rights generated by music recordings that were broadcast and\/or exploited in Belgium in 2020 will take place.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>HOW ARE THESE NEIGHBOURING RIGHTS GENERATED?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The remunerations of your rights stem from the equitable remuneration, private copying and the lending right. These remunerations were collected as a compensation for music recordings that were broadcast and\/or exploited Belgium in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"261\" height=\"245\" src=\"http:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Income_rights_music.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15391\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>FIRST\/FINAL DISTRIBUTION: HOW DOES IT WORK?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>PlayRight always realises the distribution of your rights as a musician in two phases. The deadline for the declaration of repertoires that may generate rights for the reference year 2020 is 31 December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1603\" height=\"1920\" src=\"http:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-1603x1920.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-1603x1920.png 1603w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-209x250.png 209w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-768x920.png 768w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-1282x1536.png 1282w, https:\/\/playright.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Timeline-ENG-1-1710x2048.png 1710w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1603px) 100vw, 1603px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW ARE MY RIGHTS CALCULATED?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For every distribution of your rights as a musician on the Belgian territory, PlayRight matches the declared repertoires with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The playlists of radio stations and the audience rates;<\/li><li>The Ultratop sales lists.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/en\/which-radio-stations-are-included-in-playright-playlists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WHICH RADIO STATIONS ARE INCLUDED IN PLAYRIGHT PLAYLISTS?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once these remunerations have been collected, PlayRight links your <strong>declared repertoire<\/strong> with these playlists, which contain all recordings that will generate rights for a certain year. You can find these playlists via your online portal in the PlayRight menu and declare your performances based on the tracks you recognise. <a href=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/en\/what-is-the-menu-playlist-in-my-online-portal-for\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Learn more about the PlayList menu.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT IF I HAVE NOT DECLARED ANYTHING FOR 2020?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It&rsquo;s not too late yet! This is only a first distribution. PlayRight always distributes rights in <a href=\"https:\/\/playright.be\/en\/first-final-distribution-how-it-works\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>two stages<\/strong><\/a>: a first one that takes place now, in 2021, and a final distribution in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHEN WILL THE NEXT DISTRIBUTION OF MY RIGHTS TAKE PLACE?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, PlayRight draws up a distribution calendar.
