PlayRight<\/span> has <\/span>just<\/span> closed<\/span> the<\/span> distribution<\/span> of <\/span>audiovisual<\/span> rights<\/span> for<\/span> the<\/span> 201<\/span>7-2018<\/span> reference<\/span> year<\/span>s<\/span>! The <\/span>total<\/span> amount<\/span> involved<\/span> is <\/span>3,685,499.65<\/span> € <\/span>of <\/span>neighbouring<\/span> rights<\/span> coming<\/span> from<\/span> audiovisual <\/span>recordings<\/span> that<\/span> were<\/span> broadcast <\/span>and<\/span>\/or <\/span>exploited<\/span> in 201<\/span>7-2018<\/span>. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

As an artist (or representative of an artist), you now have six months to inform us of doubts and questions and to file objections or complaints about this distribution. <\/p>\n\n

First\/<\/span>final<\/span> distribution<\/span>: <\/span>how<\/span> does <\/span>it<\/span> work<\/span>? <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

PlayRight<\/span> always<\/span> carries<\/span> out <\/span>the<\/span> distribution<\/span> of <\/span>your<\/span> rights<\/span> as <\/span>a<\/span>n<\/span> actor <\/span>in <\/span>two<\/span> stages. For <\/span>Audiovisual <\/span>201<\/span>7-2018<\/span>, <\/span>our<\/span> collection<\/span> society <\/span>paid<\/span> out <\/span>the<\/span> <\/span>first <\/span>distribution<\/span> of <\/span>rights<\/span><\/span><\/a> as <\/span>early<\/span> as <\/span>September <\/span>2020.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The deadline for declaring repertoires that could yield rights for the 2017-2018 reference years was 31 December 2022. <\/p>\n\n

This concluding distribution completes the payment of neighbouring rights for actors for this reference year. Thus, the total amount of Belgian audiovisual rights 2017-2018 paid out to actors now comes to 4,337,733.25 €. <\/p>\n\n

How are <\/span>my<\/span> rights<\/span> calculated<\/span>? <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

For this distribution, the Board of Directors established a list of TV channels that are taken into account in the calculation in accordance with our General Regulations. These channels must be aimed at a Belgian audience. <\/p>\n\n
