PlayRight has just closed the distribution of audiovisual rights for the 2019 reference year! The total amount involved is € 2 045 253,71 of neighbouring rights coming from audiovisual recordings that were broadcast and\/or exploited in 2019.  <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an artist (or representative of an artist), you now have six months to inform us of doubts and questions and to file objections or complaints about this distribution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First\/final distribution: how does it work?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PlayRight always carries out the distribution of your rights as an actor in two stages. For Audiovisual 2019, our collection society paid out the first distribution<\/a> of rights as early as September 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline for declaring repertoires that could yield rights for the 2019 reference years was 31 December 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This concluding distribution completes the payment of neighbouring rights for actors for this reference year. Thus, the total amount of Belgian audiovisual rights 2019 paid out to actors now comes to€ 2.320.000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How are my rights calculated? <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For this distribution, the Board of Directors established a list of TV channels that are taken into account in the calculation in accordance with our General Regulations. These channels must be aimed at a Belgian audience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
