Becoming famous as an actor… Yes, but how, exactly? How do you approach a casting director, how do you prepare for an audition or how can you gain visibility in the sector?

To answer all these questions and more, PlayRight invites you to a workshop led by two casting directors: Louis Pons from le quartier and Sebastian Moradiellos from MCasting. This workshop will take place at the BEURSSCHOUWBURG on Monday, January13,2020 from 3 pm-6 pm.

Content:

• Casting director: How does it work?
• How do they recruit their actors?
• How do you approach a casting director?
• How can you increase your own visibility as an actor/actress? With which means?
• How can you successfully “pass” a casting (what to do and what not)?
• How do you sell yourself as an actor?

The aim of this workshop is to devote an entire afternoon to training and discussions, with speakers who will explain their profession as casting directors, give advice, explain some useful tools (websites, showreel, etc.) and job opportunities in the audiovisual sector in Belgium.
