For actors and actresses, finding support to further develop an international career is not always easy in today’s funding landscape. That is why PlayRight launched the Internationalisation Grant on 1 July. 

As a PlayRight member, you can apply for a grant to take part in international workshops, training programmes and industry events. PlayRight covers up to 30% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €750 per application. The grant can also be combined with other forms of support. 

No need to wait: You can already submit your application even if your activity has not yet taken place! This allows PlayRight to reserve the amount for you in advance. You can provide proof of your costs and participation afterwards. 

Eligible expenses include registration fees, travel costs and accommodation expenses. Through this accessible grant, PlayRight aims to lower the threshold for taking part in international training programmes, casting workshops and industry events, thereby directly investing in the talent and professional development of Belgian performing artists.
