PlayRight is launching an Internationalisation Grant for actors and actresses. With this new initiative, PlayRight aims to support performing artists as they develop their careers beyond national borders.
PlayRight will cover up to 30% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of €750 per application.
The grant can be combined with other forms of support, provided that the total support received does not exceed the actual costs and all other sources of funding are listed in the application.
Payment is made after the activity has taken place, based on supporting documents and proof of payment submitted.
The grant is aimed at members of the drama and dance sector.

An international activity takes place outside Belgium or demonstrably involves an international field of participants or internationally recognised instructors.

Applications must be submitted no earlier than three months before and no later than three months after the activity.

As soon as an application is submitted to PlayRight, the requested grant is reserved. This reservation is released as soon as all supporting documents have been submitted and the grant has been effectively awarded.
The assessment is based on the assessment criteria set out in these regulations and in accordance with the principles of objectivity, independence and equal treatment.
No preference is given to applicants based of fame, reputation, personal or professional relationships, artistic preferences or other irrelevant factors.
The applicant will receive a decision no later than four weeks after submitting a complete application. Payment will be made after the activity has concluded, based on submitted invoices and proof of payment, and upon receipt of the final report. If the actual costs are lower than anticipated, the grant will be adjusted proportionally.
If the activity is cancelled, the grant will lapse, unless costs are demonstrably non-recoverable. In the event of force majeure, the activity may be postponed or the grant adjusted.
In the event of incorrect or misleading information, PlayRight may recover the grant in full or in part and may decide to exclude the applicant from future support
