Yesterday, October 11^th , professor emeritus Roger Blanpain has deceased. Next to being an absolute authority in the field of labor law, Professor Blanpain also was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of VEWA, the Association of Educational and Scientific Authors. As chairman of that collective management organisation, he was the driving force behind the reformation of public lending rights and the improvement of the situation for all authors and performing artists.

The Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the management and the entire staff of PlayRight would like to thank Roger once more for all the work he has done and wishes his family and wife Lina much strength.
