At PlayRight’s General Meeting on Monday, June 19, the attending shareholders were able to vote for candidate board members. We list all the changes for you and introduce you to the newest faces on our Board of Directors.

This year, there were 4 mandates to be filled on PlayRight’s Board of Directors. These went to the following associates:

• Christian Martin was re-elected to a mandate of French-speaking performer in the College of Music (4 years);
• Jeroen Swinnen gets a mandate of Dutch-speaking performer in the College of Music (4 years);
• Bernard Suin gets a mandate of French-speaking performing artist in the College of Dramatic Arts & Dance (4 years);
• Floris Devooght gets a mandate of Dutch-speaking performing artist in the College of Dramatic Arts & Dance (4 years).

In addition, Eva Schampaert was confirmed as co-opted director as Dutch-speaking performing artist in the College of Music. Her mandate runs for another two years.

At the meeting of the Board of Directors on Monday 26 June, Johan Van Assche was co-opted as Dutch-speaking performing artist in the College of Dramatic Arts & Dance.

Christian Martin was also re-elected as president of PlayRight’s Board of Directors at that meeting.

This means that we say goodbye to Paul Poelmans and Julie Basecqz from our Board of Directors. We would like to thank them warmly for the many years they have dedicated themselves to PlayRight and the performing arts community.
