With the PlayRight top 100, local talent takes center stage in an official chart that shows which Belgian artists are conquering the country each week, based on official streaming and airplay figures in Flanders.

What is the PlayRight top 100?

The PlayRight top 100 is an official Belgian chart entirely dedicated to local artists and their music.

Two separate charts are published each week:

• The Flemish PlayRight top 100
• The French-speaking Belgium PlayRight top 100

This gives talent from all over Belgium the chance to be in the spotlight, regardless of genre or background.

The list is compiled by PlayRight, the collective management organisation for neighbouring rights for performing artists.

How is the PlayRight top 100 compiled?

The ranking in the PlayRight top 100 is based on objective data from:

• Streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music
• Airplay data from Belgian radio stations

This combination means that the chart accurately reflects what the Belgian public is really listening to.

Every Thursday afternoon, the chart is updated on playrighttop100.be, so fans and artists can follow the most popular Belgian songs every week.

Where can you hear the PlayRight top 100?

The chart isn’t just online, it’s also on the radio!

In Flanders, you can hear the Top 30 of the PlayRight top 100:

• Every Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on NRJ
• And Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on NRJ
• In addition, Nostalgie pays extra attention to the chart with Marcia Bwarody

In French-speaking Belgium, the PlayRight top 100 is presented on RTBF – TIP!K under the name Le Top Belge.

This gives Belgian music a permanent place on national radio. An important step for the visibility of local artists.
