The additional distribution of exclusive rights for broadcasting on RTBF is completed! PlayRight has distributed a total of €577.403 in rights coming from RTBF (co-)productions broadcast on their television channels between 1996 and 2020. A final distribution will take place in 2025. 

PlayRight has concluded an agreement with RTBF for the transfer of recording rights covering the period from 1996 to 2020. Following a first distribution in 2022, an additional distribution was made this year. This year we have distributed a total of €577,403.57. This additional distribution was based on the repertoires declared, as recorded in our database. 

TIP: 

Via the PlayRight portal, you can find more details about this distribution in the “Rights” menu. Be sure to check these details. Do you notice errors in the distribution and/or in the composition of the cast, or do you have questions about the distribution? If so, contact your account manager, or send an email to members@playright.be. 

MISSED THE DEADLINE? 

Did you miss the deadline for the additional distribution? No worries: you will get one more chance. The final distribution will take place in 2025. 

Ensure right now that your rights will be distributed to you by declaring your repertoire via the PlayRight portal.  

1. Go to the portal. In the menu, choose “PlayList”. 

2. Depending on the performance you want to indicate, choose the tab “Audiovisual, Dubbing and post-synchronisation” or “Music in audiovisual”. 

3. Select “Exclusive rights RTBF 1996-2020” in the reference year at the top of the menu. 

4. Complete your repertoire.
