Have you, as an artist, participated in recordings that were later broadcast on RTBF television? Then you should definitely read the rest of this article!

PlayRight and RTBF recently concluded an agreement to transfer to PlayRight the rights that RTBF had set aside for artists for many years. PlayRight has the expertise to distribute these rights quickly and efficiently.

In order to distribute these rights, we have established a specific distribution playlist based on the RTBF television programs broadcast between 1996 and 2020. You will find this distribution list in your online portal and also to download for easy searching here on the PlayRight website: http://playright.be/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/RTBF_Members_Playlist.pdf

We will make a first distribution in December this year. It is therefore IMPORTANT to go through this playlist and to complete your repertoire by declaring the recordings from the playlist to which you have contributed. Depending on the service you wish to declare, go to the tab “Audiovisual”, “postsynchronisation” or “Music in audiovisual” and select “exclusive rights RTBF 1996-2020” in the reference year at the top of the menu.

ATTENTION: we need your declarations by 31 October 2022 at the latest. Declarations received after this date will be taken into account in an additional distribution at the end of 2023 or at the last distribution of these rights in 2025.
