Some  good news for this new year! The PlayRight+ emergency fund, which was established almost two years ago to offer financial support to the performing artists, has been relaunched! Were any of your activities cancelled between 20^th of  November 2021 and 31^st of December 2021? Submit your application RIGHT NOW!

Following the announcement of a return to stricter sanitary measures, many artists are once again experiencing the cancellation of events, concerts, filming and other job opportunities.

PlayRight has, therefore, decided to reactivate the emergency fund. Same system, same rules, with the notable difference that the fund is available to artists that joined PlayRight (or made an affiliation request) before 20^th of November 2021.

You can now apply for support for your activities that have been cancelled between 20 November and 31^st of December 2021.

Deadline = 16^th of January 2022.

REMINDER: We give a shortoverview of the conditions that must be met to be eligible for support. The emergency fund is available for all performing artists who:

• have been affiliated (or have applied for affiliation) with PlayRight before 20^th of November 2021;

• have participated in at least three commercialized recordings that generate neighbouring rights under Belgian law. These recordings must have been declared or communicated before the application for financial support is submitted;
• are the victim, between November and December 2021, of a cancellation in Belgium of: days of recordings, concerts, theatre, dance or circus performances, due to the Covid-19 crisis.
