“3ème Festival”: Line-up & ambitions
The Liege label Jaune Orange celebrates its twentieth birthday! For the occasion, the label organises a festival that will take place on 17 & 18 April 2020 in Liège. The focus? Emphasising the close ties between music and image, between musical and audiovisual work.
Jaune
Orange was founded twenty years ago by an initiative of musicians from Liège.
Since then, the label has diversified and today it offers general support and
guidance for artists. The label is subdivided into four entities: JO Label, JO
Booking, JO Publishing and JO Events. With twenty years and counting, Jaune
Orange wants to highlight this landmark by organising a new festival that
emphasises the importance of ‘the image’.
“If images can contribute that much more to a musical creation, the reverse is also true. Music combined with visual material adds an extra meaning, a different way of reading, an extra dimension. Through this festival we want to pay tribute to the image and explore its various forms. Each intervention will be characterised by an encounter between these two types of media.”
The
“3ème Festival” therefore aims to
offer a dense and diverse programme including conferences, concerts,
performances, exhibitions, projections, etc.
Artists & speakers:
