PlayRight is a cooperative company for and by artists. The Board of Directors consists exclusively of artists-shareholders who are appointed by their peers during the annual General Assembly. As a member of the Board you take part in the monthly meetings and you help to define the strategic course of our company.

There are some mandates to be filled in. Time to apply!

Who can become a director?

Every performing artist who is a shareholder may submit his/her application in accordance with the statutory provisions and instructions mentioned in this communication.

Note: If you are elected, your mandate as a director requires that you are compliant with the NISSE, as you need to have the statute of self-employed (full-time or as a secondary occupation).

The mandates of 2022

This year, 5 director mandates are to be filled in.

Within the Drama & Dance college, there are 3 mandates to be filled in. Within the Music college, 2 mandates are open for applicants.

Who are we looking for?

• A Dutch-speaking musician (4 years mandate)
• A French-speaking musician (4 years mandate)
• A Dutch-speaking actor/actress, dancer, circus artist or variety artist (4 years mandate
• A French-speaking actor/actress, dancer, circus artist or variety artist (4 years mandate
• A Dutch-speaking actor/actress, dancer, circus artist or variety artist (2 years mandate

How to apply?

Send your application to r.peereboom@playright.be, along with:

• A short presentation of yourself (CV);
• A picture (JPEG or PNG)

Applications must be submitted at least 45 days before the start of the General Assembly, that is, at the latest 6 May 2022!

Afterwards, PlayRight will present all candidates to the shareholders, so that they can elect the candidate of their choice during the General Assembly on MONDAY 20 JUNE 2022.Conclusion: do you want to get involved in your collecting society? Apply to become a director now!
