Music 2020: the PlayList is now online

May 18 2021

PlayRight has just released the playlist for the reference year 2020. The PlayList menu allows you to save a considerable amount of time when declaring your music recordings via your online portal!

PlayRight draws up annual playlists of music recordings arranged per reference year, available to you through the Playright Portal, which enables you to easily declare your performances. All tracks in these playlists can generate neighbouring rights. If you declare your performances now, concerning music broadcast and exploited in 2020, you will receive your rights during the first distribution of this reference year in October 2021.

How it works

Declaring your music performances is simple:

  1. Log in to your online portal;
  2. Click on the PlayList menu. This gives you access to the PlayRight playlists, listed by reference year;
  3. Declare your music performances as soon as possible

What about my audiovisual performances?

The PlayList menu is a specific tool to declare music performances. Making a similar tool for audiovisual performances is unfortunately much more complicated and therefore we cannot offer it for the time being.

Deadline

Until December 31st, 2021 you can declare the following performances:

  • Audiovisual recordings for the reference year 2016;
  • Music recordings for the reference 2018.

Once these deadlines have expired, PlayRight closes the rights for these reference years. Your performances continue to generate rights for the years that are still open, but not for the closed years if you did not respect the declaration deadlines.

Start declaring now!
